Skye Mountain Rescue

The Isle of Skye Mountain Rescue Team ensures safety for adventurers in the challenging terrains of Skye. Over the years the Skye MRT have saved many lives and provided assistance to visitors of the Fairy Pools.

Minginish Community

The remote rural area of Minginish on the Isle of Skye is home to Cuillin mountains and the Fairy Pools. Minginish spans 21,000 hectares with a population of around 500 Other attractions in the area are Glenbrittle Beach and the Talisker Distillery at Carbost.

Out-Door Access Trust

An innovative collaboration between OATS and the Minginish Community Hall Association has resulted in the development of a much needed carpark and toilet facilities and pathways for visitors to the Fairy Pools
